Share a Restricted Access to an Object

Sharing an access is possible with the uplink share command. When used without any argument, it shares the entire project with read only permissions.

The --readonlyflag prevents all write operations (delete and write namely). Similarly, the --writeonly flag prevents all read operations (read and list). For sharing our cheesecake image and exporting it to the file cheesecake.accesswe would use :

Windows
Linux
macOS
Windows
./uplink.exe share sj://cakes/cheesecake.jpg --export-to cheesecake.access
Linux
uplink share sj://cakes/cheesecake.jpg --export-to cheesecake.access
macOS
uplink share sj://cakes/cheesecake.jpg --export-to cheesecake.access

By default, the access is a read only access. To give full permissions, use--readonly=false

To stream content/videos directly, you can change the /s/ in Linkshare URL with /raw/, ex: https://link.tardigradeshare.io/raw/ju34skavohcqezr6vlfgshg5nmjq/dwebdemo/isthataquestion.mp4

You can control the permissions you give with more granularity. See the Uplink CLI share command reference.
